Steve Schneider (Board Member) is currently founder, president and CEO of Hilbert Communications, LLC; an integrated communications company providing broadband and wireless communications services to rural communities in the Upper Midwest. Schneider also serves as president and CEO of Hilbert’s wholly owned subsidiaries – Redtail Tower, LLC, Bug Tussel Wireless, LLC, Midwest DataCore, LLC, Cloud1, LLC, Intelegra, LLC and Michigan Wireless, LLC. Schneider is also involved in commercial real estate development and restoration including the historic Bellin Building in Green Bay, Zuelke Building in Appleton and Kerscher Building on the Fox Riverfront. Schneider is also a co-owner of Black and Tan Grille and The Daily Buzz Coffee Shop in downtown Green Bay. Schneider is a member of the East Side Serra Club, Downtown Kiwanis Club, St. Norbert College Parish, Green Bay Antiquarian Society and the DePere Historical Society. He also serves on the Board of the Civic Symphony of Green Bay and Chairs the Board of Visitors of the Schneider School of Business and Economics at St. Norbert College. Schneider has a B.B.A. in Accounting from St. Norbert College and has taken advanced degree courses in Theology and Organizational Behavior. In his earlier careers, he was a member of St. Norbert Abbey as a seminarian and served as Vice-President – Wireless Operations and Vice-President-Corporate Development for NSight including general management of Cellcom from 1991-2001. He and his wife, Kaye, and children Rachel (18) and Michael (15) and dog Khloe (4) reside in Ledgeview, Wisconsin.
Robert Goldberg (Board Member) is a certified public accountant. He served in the army and is a graduate of CCNY where he went for accounting, finance and economics. He was Chief Financial Officer and Director of Real Estate operations for Merrill Lynch, Hubbard where he also served on the board as Vice President and Treasurer. Other board experience includes: The York Theatre Company (Vice President and Assistant Treasurer), Neighborhood Urban Outreach: Sickle Cell Anemia Foundation (Vice President and Treasurer), Burlesque to Broadway LLC (Board Member).
Carey Behnke (Board Member) is currently the Education and Communication Specialist at UW-Extension Outagamie County. She has worked in the non-profit world for over the last decade including organizations such as The Building for Kids Children's Museum and the Schauer Center. Graduate of UW-Stevens Point where she met and performed improvisational theatre with Carolyn and Wyatt. She lives in Appleton with her husband and two daughters.
Christopher Balzer (President) Utilizing a Master’s degree in social and community services, Christopher worked with 8-17 year old children/young adults as a youth counselor at a residential treatment facility. A sample of the services provided included teaching daily life skills, deescalating inappropriate or violent behavior and acting as an educational tutor. He currently works as a technology professional for a large insurance company.
Gregory Rae (Board Member) Tony Award-winning producer. Theatrical credits include HEDWIG, KINKY BOOTS, CLYBOURNE PARK (2012 Tony Award), BARE (off-Broadway) and THE NORMAL HEART (2011 Tony Award). He is an executive producer of the films THE GOLDFISH, CLUTTER, THE MUSLIMS ARE COMING and FAMILY REMAINS, and co-executive producer of THE GREEN. He became a partner in Martian Entertainment LLC, a theatrical general management and production company, in 2013. Rae serves on the Harvey Mudd College Board of Trustees and The Tank, a Manhattan-based nonprofit arts organization; is a member of the National Leadership Council and of Lambda Legal; and is an associate member of The Broadway League.
